Me: When you read your storybook, what do you do when you find a word you don't understand?
Piano Student: Use a dictionary!
Me: Yah lah. For music it's the same thing lah. When you don't understand something in the music sheet, like you can't recognise the note, you just mark it with pencil first, and try to find out what it means.
Piano Student: But sometimes I just skip the word ahh...
Me: Cannot lah like that how you learn?
