Not very in your face

I remembered that there was a year of Inter-School Debating competitions I helped out with: Finals - School of Business (Proposition) VS School of Film & Media Studies (Opposition). Harlina and Adi were representing FMS.

The result of the debate, in the words of the head adjudicator (Shareen, I remembered), was that the debate proposition stands.

Then came the awkward silence, and only after around a minute or so, the confused faces of the business debaters turned to huge smiles when their lecturers had to shout to them that they had won the damn competition.

Shareen should have used the more simple "you have won".

P.S: Then pretty-boy Mark Zee was one of their lecturers. Which really explains half the story...
